This class fulfills the new National Association of Realtors (NAR) requirement of the Fair Housing Act. This will cover you for the 2025-2027 cycle period. NAR’s Board of Directors approved this new policy during the May 2023 REALTORS legislative meetings that instituted a fair housing training requirement for all members. The policy is based on a recommendation created by a work group composed of members of the Fair Housing Committee, Professional Development Committee, Association Executives Committee, and Membership Policy and Board Jurisdiction Committee (The recommendation was presented to the Board by the latter). NAR sees providing equal professional services to be an essential part of their commitment to a higher ethical standard.
